Stay Home and Practice
There’s been lots of online Band Rehearsals to keep the spirits up during the lockdown but we thought we’d try something perhaps a little different. Matt and Alan have been looking at some music to rehearse for Senior and Junior Band which we’ve emailed out (with the permission of the arranger) so that each player to rehearse their own part and record it. Please do respect the work and effort that Matthew Kingston’s put in by keeping it within CaS Band.
The Music selected first is “Lord Of All Hopefulness” an uplifting hymn very appropriate to help us look to after the sad times of Covid 19. I’ve recorded the Solo Cornet part for the Hymn to give us all a tempo to work to and started to merge the band together! Let us know if you need any help and any suggestions or ideas are always welcome and if you don’t want to take part them not a problem but it would be great to get as many of the Junior and Senior players involved.
Click on the Instrument to listen to the individual recording or on Matt’s or Alans’s Smiley Chops to listen to the merged band sound. As I get more parts back the band will start to Grow.  Record your part while listening to Band recording or any of the individual recordings and then email back to Trummers or Zoe. Good Luck!
